Welcome to our handy end of year checklist! It contains all things federal that you need to finish up the activities for year! The purpose of this document is to keep you informed of all the documents that are required this time of year and the deadlines that they are due to TEA. This will go great on your bulletin board, so grab your favorite pen and have fun checking them off!

The CSS team works directly with clients to provide the guidance and resources necessary to meet these timelines.

Submit Gun Free Schools Report (PR6000) - Found in Compliance Report tab in eGrants. You will not be able to receive your 2023-24 NOGAs without completing this report. Opened 5/4/23; complete after last day of school6/29/23

For Charter districts receiving $750,000 or more SCE funds during the 2021-22 School Year, submit a copy of two CIP’s (at least 1 from a Title I campus) from 2021-22

SCE and ESSA Program Evaluation: Determine the effectiveness of the programs for 2022-23 school year.
CSS has templates for program evaluations for paid clients.
Before final budgeting for the of 2023-24 school year
Evaluate impact of parent involvement activities at both the campus and LEA level and revise for next year. Make changes to the Home School Compacts for Title I campuses. Make changes to the campus and LEA Parent and Family Engagement Policies. These actions must be completed with committee. Before start of 2023-24 School Year; ideally before Title I budget is done for PFE activities
Begin budget planning for SCE, Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV and IDEA B funds. Opportunity for public input prior to grant submission.Before submission of IDEA-B and ESSA grant applications
