The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the actual processing of all payrolls for multiple Charter Schools. They coordinate with each client collecting and processing time for employee’s timesheets and payroll date, calculating wages, issuing statements, and preparing payroll checks. Their job and what they excel at is ensuring that the payroll is delivered in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations and in a timely manner according to the clients approved schedule.
CSS Finance Managers are the forefront of our financial business office services. They are responsible for overseeing all processing of the financial and accounting transactions of the business office of multiple Texas charter schools in line with the FASRG guidance, the school’s local guidelines, Texas Education Association (TEA), and Federal regulations. CSS offers a full-service business office management experience including the preparation and processing of payroll, accounts payable, month end reconciliation, audit documentation, financial reports, and more using TxEIS, JR3 or another State Sponsored Information Accounting System (IAS) when applicable.
Federal Grants Manager
CSS Federal Grants Managers are at the core of our Federal Programs services, also focusing on State Allotment Monitoring of Special Programs (PIC). They are responsible for assisting Texas charter school leaders and business officers in developing, applying for, implementing, and complying with all Federal grant and PIC programs.
Human Resources Specialist
The CSS Human Resource Specialists are at the forefront of the client’s HR experience with CSS. They are responsible for the processing of new hire paperwork and onboarding activities, leading benefits coordination efforts, and supporting the ongoing HR activities of multiple Texas charter schools.
CSS Finance Specialists are the core of our financial business office services. They are responsible for processing the financial and accounting transactions of the business office of multiple Texas charter schools in line with the FASRG guidance, the school’s local guidelines, Texas Education Association (TEA), and Federal regulations.
The Finance Director is responsible for managing all client accounts along with their team of Managers, including the highest level of oversight for all finance services, and coordination of human resources and federal funds services in partnership with the CFSO and COO.
