HR 101: Charter-Wide HR

At the completion of this session, attendees will understand the overall big picture of how to manage all of the pieces associated with a charter school’s personnel system. The personnel system manages the charter school’s largest asset, and largest cost; its staff. This session will focus on the functions/processes of recruiting, hiring and developing employees so they become a crucial team member serving the students. Other personnel system processes include the steps in deciding the employees’ wages, benefits, incentives, performance appraisal and succession planning.
