PEIMS Leavers Webinar

Did you know that any student in grades 7 to 12 in the prior school year who did not re-enroll in the current school year need an accurate leaver code submitted in the Fall PEIMS submission? If you are not properly researching, coding and retaining the documentation to support these codes, you may be negatively impacting your district’s Accountability Rating, Graduation and Dropout Rates, Mobility Rates or potentially trigger a TEA Desktop Audit. This webinar will ensure that you understand the leaver coding process from start to finish including helpful hints on tracking down your leavers so that your district does not submit any unnecessary dropouts.

ESSA Compliance Report Webinar

There are significant changes for the 2018 ESSA Compliance Report. Every district and charter school receiving ESSA funds (Title I, Title II, Title III and Title IV) is required to submit the ESSA compliance report. The information is submitted on the report is reviewed by TEA to verify your charter’s compliance with ESSA guidelines. This webinar will explain the changes and how to complete the different forms within the report. In addition, the webinar will include a discussion of best practices in the documentation of your charter’s supplemental grant-funded programs. This year, the compliance report will be due at the end of September.

Parent and Family Engagement Policy

Every school that receives Title I, Part A funds must jointly develop and agree on a Parent and Family Engagement Policy with parents and guardians, and then distribute that policy to all parents of children participating in the Title I, Part A program. In addition to being jointly developed and agreed upon, the school Parent and Family Engagement Policy must contain information required by Section 1118 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA). District Equity Plan Webinar

Fall PEIMS 101 Webinar
