2024-25 Charter Fee Survey
Due November 28, 2025
For: ALL CHARTERS
- The survey pertains to fees collected during the 2023–2024 school year. If your school did not serve students during that school year, please do not complete the survey. Responses should reflect information for the LEA as a whole and must be aggregated across all campuses that were open in 2023–2024.
- The listing of fees required for reporting are as follows: (If you did not charge fees for any of the following, you are still required to submit the survey and select no when prompted in each question.)

Depository Contract
Due December 1, 2025
For: ALL CHARTERS
- The depository contract and related information, or a signed statement verifying that there are no changes to the depository contract, must be submitted electronically through the TEAL Audit application.

Transportation Operations Report
Due December 1, 2025
For: Charters with transportation programs that receive FSP Transportation allotment funds.
- This report is used to report expenses and number of busses for the prior school year.

Governance Reporting
Due December 1, 2025

- Charter schools submit information about governing board members and charter officers through the Governance Reporting Form.

Fall PEIMS Submission
Due December 11, 2025
For: ALL CHARTERS – First Submission
- The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) encompasses all data requested and received by TEA about public education, including student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information. This is the first submission. Resubmission is due January 15, 2026.

Annual Report of Immunization Status
Due December 13, 2025
For: ALL CHARTERS
- In accordance with Section 38.002, Education Code and 25 TAC §97.71, all public school districts and accredited private schools shall complete the Annual Report of Immunization Status (ARIS) each year. The purpose of this report is to monitor compliance with the Texas immunization requirements outlined in 25 TAC §97.61-97.72.

Annual Fingerprinting Certification
Due December 19, 2025
For: ALL CHARTERS
- Chapter 22 Subchapter C, of the Texas Education Code (TEC) requires school entities to ensure that certain individuals are fingerprinted to undergo a national criminal history records review and that other individuals undergo a name-based criminal history record information review. In addition, superintendents of districts and chief operating officers of open-enrollment charter schools are required to certify annually that the district or charter school has complied with TEC, §22.085.

Annual Financial Reporting
Due February 27, 2026
For: ALL CHARTERS
- Due to delays in the release of the final 2025 Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Compliance Supplement and in the development of the new Audit 2.0 application in TEAL, the FY2025 annual financial report (AFR) due date for charter schools and school districts with a fiscal year-end date of June 30 will not be November 27, 2025. The revised due date for all FY2025 annual financial reports to be completed, approved by the board, and submitted to the Texas Education Agency is February 27, 2026.
