The Texas Public Information Act guarantees members of the general public the right to access certain records of public agencies, including the records of charter schools. Do you know your rights and responsibilities for responding to these requests? Join us for this online course in which you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what qualifies as public information, emphasizing the applicability of the Texas Public Information Act to your charter school, the procedures and requirements necessary to comply when you receive a request for information, the role of the Attorney General, and the possible penalties for failure to comply with the Texas Public Information Act.
