Mid-Year Federal Grants Review Online Course

My, how time flies!  It’s hard to believe we’re already at the mid-point of the school year!  This is the perfect time for reviewing your federal grants.  TEA has released final allocations for ESSA and IDEA-B, but before you submit those amendments take some time to conduct a review.  You’ll want to review your federal grants and compare how you budgeted in your grant applications with the programs and activities you have in place at the district and campuses.  Is your budget in alignment with grant expenditures and your campus or district improvement plans?  Do you need to adjust your grant applications as you amend to accept the maximum entitlement and carryover funds?  This course will assist you in reviewing the financial aspects of your ESSA and Special Education programs.
