This course provides an overview of the legal requirements and practical issues associated with leave for military service and in some instances, the continuing care of service men and women. We will review USERRA, FMLA as it relates to military leave, and Texas specific law. You’ll leave this course with not only a better understanding of what is required of you as an employer when it comes to supporting an employee in need of military leave, but also some tools and resources to implement and ensure compliant practices at your charter districts
