ESSA Title I: School Parent Compact Online Course
Description
If you receive Title I, Part A funds, you have been learning about all of the Parent and Family Engagement requirements. This is the time of year when you must create a School Parent Compact that outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement based on the current Campus Improvement Plan. The Texas Education Agency has developed new guidance to help all Texas schools develop compacts that are meaningful and invite parents to be full partners in their child’s academic journey. Join us to learn the essential pieces of this compact, as well as best practices for developing, distributing, and implementing this required compact for your charter school.
