Federally funded staff are a huge asset to academic programs at Texas Charter Schools. The new EDGAR allows for federally funded staff to be subject to several conditions. TEA has also provided additional guidance on the time and effort for federally funded staff. This course will address the necessary written procedures, staff documentation, and the guidelines on reasonable compensation. Topics include job descriptions, pay scale, timekeeping, and time and effort. Sample documentation and helpful tools and tips for charters will be discussed and provided.
