Charter FIRST is the financial accountability for Charters; it is as important as academic accountability. TEA will use the audited fiscal year-end number for 2022 to calculate 2022-2023 Charter FIRST. They call this the 2022-2023 rating year. This 22-23 rating will utilize 20 indicators. Act now while you are still “producing” the financials…project your FIRST rating while you have time to make necessary adjustments. Register NOW before your audit is final to calculate your Charter FIRST 23-24 rating. Upon completion of this course, you will understand the 20 indicators and how they are calculated, or where the data is collected. This knowledge will help ensure your charter passes Charter FIRST.
