Every charter is required to have a qualified external financial auditor complete an annual financial report for submittal to TEA. The annual financial report plays a major role in your district’s charter first rating, we will identify which charter first indicators are impacted by information listed on the audit report. We will show you how to find/or check that your auditor is TEA qualified. We will also help you prepare for your audit. If you are new to the audit process, you will gain the understanding of the steps you need to take and a timeline to help ensure success of timely submittal. If you are experienced with annual audits, this is a great memory jogger as we will share ways to compile records and share other time saving tools that will keep your auditors happy and keep your audit costs down.
