Federal grants such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) come with financial and programmatic requirements. Now that we are half way through the school year, it’s time to review your federal grants, comparing what is in your ESSA Consolidated Grant Application with the programs and activities you have in place on your campuses. Is your budget in alignment with grant expenditures and your campus improvement plan? Have you completed the amendment made necessary by your maximum entitlement and carryover funds? This webinar will assist you in reviewing the financial aspects of your Title programs under ESSA.
Title I, in particular, is associated with a number of required program components. In the ESSA grant application, you made assurances that your charter has all required components in place. This webinar will provide you with an overview of Title I program requirements and links to TEA-approved resources to support your charter’s program implementation.
