At the completion of this course, attendees will have the knowledge of the charter school accounting and coding structure along with the role and responsibility of the business office. Internal controls, accounting procedures, preparation, documentation and the impact to the budget and the annual financial audit will be discussed. Best Practices (including tools) for accurate coding, budget preparation and internal controls will be shared and discussed.
