Understanding the Business Side of Fall PEIMS Webinar

October 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

The Fall PEIMS submission is the first of four annual PEIMS submissions and is due to TEA on December 3, 2020.  This submission involves the collection and submittal of information from both the student and business sides of your charter. Fall PEIMS data is used to calculate compensatory entitlements, monitor student special programs, report data to the federal government, calculate student retention rates, calculate basic profiles for the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS), and can trigger a TEA desk audit.
This webinar focuses on the reporting aspects specific to budget data for funds 420, 240, and debt services, as well as several staff and HR-related components like demographics and responsibility records. We will also discuss the new PEIMS data elements that are being collected for the first time this year!
You will leave this webinar with a good foundation for understanding what data is included in the Fall PEIMS submission and which TSDS reports to focus on to ensure data accuracy. Never before has knowing exactly what you will submit and what it all means been this comprehensive and clear!
