Is your district accurately identifying, reviewing and updating your At-Risk student’s indicator codes in your Student Information System? There are now 14 state defined criteria that identify a student as being considered At-Risk for dropping out of school. Did you know that each criteria has different documentation requirements and time frames associated with them? It can be very difficult to organize and stay on top of this data! Your At-Risk data is used for a variety of purposes and is only submitted once a year in your Fall PEIMS submission, which is due to TEA on December 2, 2021. Upon the completion of this course, you have all the information needed to put an At-Risk identification and review process in place for your district.
