At the completion of this session, attendees will understand the critical statutes relating to student attendance, admission, enrollment records and the impact on the school finances. This session will review the specific charter school requirements of attendance of students in Texas, excused absences, and attendance enforcement. Charter School admissions, proof of residency, homeless, foreign and other special case students will be covered. Attendees will be able to audit their student records to ascertain proper admissions, quality coding and enrollment documentation which ensures audit ready records and maximized student funding.
