Since the adoption of House Bill 2442, it was established that in order to receive full funding, all school districts and charter schools are required to provide 75,600 minutes of operational time each school year. The 85th legislative session made some changes and offered clarifications to the implementation of the minutes of operation rule. In this course we will provide all you need to know to ensure that your charter is set to receive full funding, and you will learn of many opportunities for exceptions to this rule (waivers!), if they are applicable to your charter, and how to obtain and use these exceptions when you can.
