Module 10 of the FASRG states that, “Charter school officials are responsible for ensuring that charter school personnel adhere to regulatory requirements for federal programs.”
Federal grant program compliance includes the program guidelines as well as fiscal requirements to ensure that grant recipients spend funds in the manner specified by the grant program. If your organization receives funds from federal grant programs, you must adhere to these fiscal requirements.
Participants will review the financial process of federal grants from application to budget and into the ongoing review, amendment and final compliance reports. They will be able to assess their current grants and be prepared to request an amendment for this fiscal year grant. Participants will also be prepared to apply for and budget upcoming federal grants.
