Fall PEIMS Special Programs Data Online Course

Maya Strong

The Fall PEIMS submission is the first of four annual PEIMS submissions required by law each year!  This submission involves the collection and submittal of information from both the student and business sides of your charter. Fall PEIMS data is used to calculate compensatory entitlements, monitor student special programs, report data to the federal government, calculate student retention rates, calculate basic profiles for the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS), and can trigger a TEA desk audit! This webinar focuses on the data elements that are required for students participating in your Emergent Bilingual, Special Education and Section 504 programs. You will leave this webinar with a good foundation for understanding what is required to be submitted for your Special Program student participants and which TSDS reports to focus on to ensure data accuracy. Never before has knowing exactly what you will submit and what it all means been this comprehensive and clear!
