In Part 2 in our TRS series, we discuss answers to the following questions: When does the employer owe surcharges for employing a TRS retiree? When does a TRS retiree forfeit their monthly annuity payment for working after retirement? These questions are the focus of this course. We will look at this topic from the employer’s point of view and examine their responsibilities and then look at the point of view and responsibilities of the TRS retiree.
