Employee benefits are a great recruiting and retention tool. Are you using them effectively?? They can be a lower cost option to ensure your employment offer is competitive. Employees want to ensure they have their family risks of illness, injury, death, and retirement covered. Employees will embrace that their employer has thought of and covered their concerns. This course will review the basic risk employees need covered, what insurance meets those needs, and how to determine if you have all you need, or even if you have too much coverage (including benefit overlap). This course will also review why and when the insurance premium should be covered by the Charter School vs. the employee. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to use their benefits as an effective recruiting tool and how to have an effective insurance discussion with their insurance agent.
