Join us for our Basic Grants Management webinar where we will provide you with foundational knowledge of state and federal grants available to Texas schools. We will review some of TEA’s resources such as the Grant Opportunities Page with all its detailed information, support documents and grant timelines. Additionally, we will discuss Grants Management resources that tackle topics like Supplement Not Supplant, budgeting guidelines, EDGAR and other valuable resources necessary to complete a successful federal grant program.
In addition, we hope to demystify the differences between the Formula and Discretionary grants available to schools, especially considering all the Safety and Literacy-related grants made available over the last several years. At the end of this course, attendees will have a better understanding of the management of both federal and state grants.
